Strensham WIND CLUSTER

Studies

Studies are required to assess the potential impact of the proposed wind cluster.

A number of specialist consultants as well as members of the Wind Prospect team have compiled the results of these studies, which have been submitted alongside the planning application.  These studies include:

  • landscape and visual impact
  • ecology (birds, bats, etc)
  • cultural heritage
  • noise
  • access arrangements

Various environmental surveys : 26th Nov 2009

A number of surveys have been undertaken since the second half of 2007, which have, and will, provide a detailed understanding of the existing environment at and around the site and what potential impacts the proposed wind cluster may have.

As survey results are received they continue to inform detailed site layout. The planning application will include a full report, or reports, on the findings of all surveys.
